Evento paralelo: Alianzas regionales en cultura, educación artística e industrias creativas en Iberoamérica.

Este panel de discusión se realiza en el marco de la Conferencia Mundial de la UNESCO sobre Educación Cultural y Artística. Tiene como objetivo poner en valor la educación y la cultura como aliados clave para garantizar el desarrollo sostenible, y la pertinencia de facilitar la generación y transferencia de conocimiento en torno a la importancia, para el desarrollo humano y los derechos culturales, de la inclusión del arte y la cultura en el ámbito educativo.

Este evento es una colaboración del BID, la OEI, la CAF y la Fundación Roberto Marinho, quienes trabajan promoviendo las industrias creativas, la cultura y la educación en toda Iberoamérica.

A lo largo del panel, cada institución destacará diversas iniciativas que abordan las brechas en el acceso a una educación artística de calidad y en el desarrollo del talento creativo. Las discusiones subrayarán la necesidad de esfuerzos colaborativos para maximizar las oportunidades para gobiernos, sociedad civil y el sector privado.

Igualmente, este espacio de debate, que reúne experiencias regionales inspiradoras y acciones coordinadas con diversas entidades, trataría de ser un aporte importante a la agenda de eventos paralelos de la Conferencia Mundial sobre Educación Cultural y Artística. Presenta una oportunidad para involucrar a nuevos actores en este proceso y lograr un mayor impacto en las personas en Iberoamérica y el resto del mundo, de forma global.

Side Event: Regional Alliances in Cultura, Artistic Education and Creative Industries in ibero-America

The joint endeavor of the UNESCO World Conference on Culture and Arts Education is focused on underscoring the significance of education and culture as vital partners in promoting sustainable development. It emphasizes the importance of enabling the creation and dissemination of knowledge regarding the integral role of art and culture in the educational sphere, crucial for human development and cultural rights.

This event represents a collaborative effort among the IDB, OEI, CAF and the Roberto Marinho Foundation, all dedicated to enhancing creative industries, culture and education across Ibero-America.

Throughout the panel, each institution will highlight various initiatives that address gaps in access to quality artistic education and the development of creative talent. The discussions will underscore the need for collaborative efforts to maximize opportunities for governments, civil society, and to bring contributions from the private sector.

Additionally, this forum for discussion, which unites inspiring regional experiences and coordinated efforts with diverse entities, strives to make a substantial contribution to the agenda of side events at the World Conference on Culture and Arts Education. It offers a chance to involve new participants in this process, aiming to create a more profound impact on people in Ibero-America and beyond.
